The Liebster Award

The lovely Lina nominated me for the Liebster Award and I, stupidly, didn't see it until recently! So here is my huge thank you to her and, if you haven't already, please do go check out her blog! Now to the answering the questions part! All other details and nominees will be below.
- Who's your favorite beauty or fashion blogger/vlogger?
She's already huge, but I love Viviannadoesmakeup. I'm highly convinced that we would make great friends. I also absolutely adore Kayley Melissa. She was the first beauty vlogger I subscribed to way back when, I've learned every possible hair trick with her and, to this day, she is still one of my favorites.
- If you could change one thing about makeup, what would it be?
The overall harm it does to our skin. The best of both worlds would be makeup that also serves as moisturizers, anti-acne, anti-aging, etc.
- What's your favorite makeup product?
Oh no, this is impossible. I'd say it's a tie between L'Oreal Paris True Match Concealer in Vanille, Bourjois' Rouge Edition Velvet in Nude-ist and a Brazilian brand called Natura's mascara called Aquarela (I think) in Black.
- What motivates you to write posts?
Whenever I absolutely love something and feel the need to share it or think of something I wish someone had written about or whenever I'm angry or sad, those are the main motivational forces behind every post. Mostly I like creating a place I haven't yet found online, which combines all of my main interests, from the most frivolous to urgently important.
- If you could meet anyone, dead or alive, and have a conversation with them, who would it be?
Currently, it would be incredibly interesting to have a sit down and honest chat with Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff. I cannot imagine being in her shoes right now. (Watch this and have a read here if you have no clue what I'm talking about.) On a less serious note, I would die if I ever met Selena Gomez. Or anyone Harry Potter related (Rowling herself or the cast).
- What's a thing you must do each morning when you wake up?
Press the snooze button. haha It's true though.. But I also never leave the house without breakfast, it's essential for the waking up process.
- What's your favorite song at the moment?
Love Yourself by Justin Bieber, not even gonna lie. It's been a go to song for months now and I've experienced no sign of getting over it.
- If you could have one thing in the world, anything you want, what would it be?
I don't really have any physical thing I'd want to have that much. I'm pretty fortunate and content with all that I have. My biggest desires right now are much more in the doing aspect of life, I am craving to do, learn, grow and help.
- What's one thing you want to achieve before this year ends?
Since mid-April I have been doing a photography course to learn the basics. There are still a couple of months left and I still have to evolve a lot on what I have learned so, by the end of the year, I want to be able to grasp all the basic concepts of photography and maybe even take a couple of photographs I'm really proud of.
I also want to be able to better my consistency in updating this blog. It hasn't come that easily lately.
- What is the last movie you watched?
I watched X-Men: Apocalypse last Monday night. I'm not the biggest X-Men fan but it was a fun movie, despite other X-Men movies having been much better. I do love James McAvoy, though, and Evan Peters made me love Mercury!
- What is the last song you listened to?
Shut Up and Dance by Walk the Moon. I was taking a shower and had put on a Spotify playlist called "VIP list".
