We've made it, kids. After seven years of loyal friendship, inappropriate relationships, overly stupid decisions and not calling the cops ever, Pretty Little Liars has finally ended. A crazy, highly questionable, entertaining ending, but an ending. If, for whatever terrible decision making abilities you have, you are still watching this show and do not want to be spoiled, do not keep reading. If you are one of the very strong people who lasted the last seven years and have finally been set free, join me in mesmerizing how insane Til DeAth Do Us Part truly was.

Let me make this clear: as frustrating as it would have been not knowing who A.D. was, when episode 19 ended I had the very clear feeling of that being it. The story would have been nicely wrapped there, although with so many unanswered questions. But you were never expecting answers from Pretty Little Liars, were you? Where have you been the past seven years? Have you not listened to Spencer when she taught us hope breads eternal misery? Naïve of you.

With that in mind, all I truly expected from the finale was finding out who A.D. was and wrapping the girl's futures with a cute bow. From reading dedicated Instagram accounts, blog posts and watching a couple too many YouTube videos on theories, I was extremely ready for the Spencer has an evil twin storyline. Marlene did not fail me in this sense.

I have to admit watching Troian act as Alex was almost as fun as watching Mona be the badass bitch in command. But as much as I expected her existence, I did not expect her to be like that. And thank goodness, she was. Her crazy was believable, just as much as her need to be Spencer and be part of the bond these girls share. Hell, I want to be part of the bond these girls share! What didn't feel so great was the timeline presented by her story, the fact that she wasn't playing the game much sooner and how Jenna and Toby were the ones to figure this out.

Let's take a moment to talk about this, Toby slept with this girl and still it took Spencer answering what was her favorite poem for him to identify her? All whilst JENNA could recognize Alex in a five second conversation by, I don't know, smell?? Oh yeah, there was also Ezra who knew Spencer was not Spencer by an exchange of strange looks and of course, the horse, THE HORSE KNEW, TOBY, THE HORSE! Well okay sure. Sounds like a soul mate indeed. I'm not even mentioning her friends of 10+ years not being able to identify her either. And this show's main focus is friendship!!!!!!!! 

But this hour and a half episode offered us much more than just the A.D. reveal and a showcasing of how this group of idiots somehow grew brains during the one year jump, since they finally were able to figure out a mystery in less than 10 minutes. We saw not one, but two incredibly hideous wedding dresses, not at all surprising for Aria. We almost got to see Ezra die (which I wouldn't really complain about to be quite honest) on his wedding day. We got a wine-moms reunion and a tease to tell us we are never going to find out how the hell they got out of that basement. We got to see Wren again, unfortunately, right before he was eternalized by crazy Alex and found out he is the real father of the Emison twins (a let down, if you ask me, as I truly wished it would have been Peter Hastings - again). We got to see all of these high school couples unrealistically end up together and talk way too much about babies. We got to remember how badass yet very creepy Jenna has always been. We were even able to see Spencer [and Ali, but mostly Spencer, right? Ali hasn't done anything at all since she came back from the dead, let's be real] transform the Lost Woods Resort into a beautiful place with I have no clue which money, considering this girl got fired from her last job about a year ago... It was entertaining and cute and I must admit I even got teary eyed at their goodbye scene (maybe due to the happiness of finally being set free). 

In truth it was not the A.D. resolution that bothered me. I watched Gossip Girl, I know how this goes, no reveal would have truly made sense or been satisfying. If I were to criticize just one thing about the finale, really, it would be how the most wonderful element of this show took a back seat in order for the writers to focus on the A.D. storyline and the romance of it all. The strong and loyal friendship these girls shared was always the center of everything and it was quite frustrating to see the reveal and answers not being done by the group as a whole and this friendship not being the focus of this goodbye.

As much as it was lovely seeing them finally be happy and living a fear-free life (which is surprising considering the amount of trauma they have all been through), it would have been more interesting to see these girls go through the discovery side by side. More than that, I wanted to see these girls exchange moments and love and future plans and have chats about their careers. I wanted much more than just one goodby scene. I wanted the first scene. The snow globe scene. Multiple of those. 

But at least we got to see Mona prove to us all how she's the most intelligent human being in this crazy town, the only one looking at the big picture and finally winning this game like the real Queen she is, always saving the Liars, despite being treated like crap by all of them, time and time again, when in truth she deserved to have been made an official Liar ages ago. All hail, Queen Mona! May Janel Parrish now invade all our screens showcasing the talent she so very clearly possesses. 

It was a lot of fun accompanying the crazy and inappropriate choices this show made over the past seven years, but an end has finally come. I loved hating it and hated loving it. 

"For some reason, this feels like this is the end of something."

For months now I have been taking mental notes on exciting movies, TV shows and books to come, so why not make a blog post about them, right? 

As many of you probably know, Will is a british Youtuber whose videos are both emotional and beautiful. Although Youtuber books are something of a pet peeve at this point, Will had a brilliant and touching idea for his. Wanting to make a book about love, he decided to request letters from his followers about love, old love, new love, lost of love, all types of love experiences. With these letters in hand, Will made a selection of his favorites and thus This Modern Love was born. Brilliant, beautiful and touching. I cannot wait to get my hands on a copy.

Now to this news my teenage self died. The Lemony Snicket book series was, probably, my favorite tied with Harry Potter. I loved the rhythm of the books, the writing style, the language, the tone, everything was incredibly gripping and exciting in this fictional world. So when the Jim Carrey movie came out, I was highly disappointed. Yeah, it's an okay movie, but with the cast they had (I mean, Jim Carrey, Meryl Streep and the kids perfect casting) combined with the story, my expectations were much higher than an "okay movie". So much of the books was lost in translation and the rearranging of the events felt completely wrong. 

This time, however, considering we will have an entire Netflix show to deal with the huge 13 + extra books story, I have a better feeling about it. Not only because there will be more time to explore nuances, but also since Netflix has been regularly making some of the best shows on air lately. Add to that the fact that Neil Patrick Harris is looking pretty perfect as evil/creepy/crazy Count Olaf. Filming has already begun, but no release date has been given by Netflix as of yet.

To be truly honest, for a hardcore Harry Potter nerd, I was really not that excited about all the new stories coming out. It felt to me like too much was being added while the story had already had a pretty well rounded ending. So when The Cursed Child became a  play, which wasn't even written by Rowling, part of me felt like it was wrong. Don't be mistaken, I am still very much in love with Harry Potter. Last time we went to Universal Studios, I was ecstatic and basically wanted to live in the Harry Potter Universe. But the additions to the story kept feeling misplaced.

However, all my feelings changed when I watched the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie trailer. It was light but exciting, much like the first few Harry Potter movies. The characters and scenarios were completely new. But the magic was the same. And it all felt very much right.

As if that wasn't enough for my Harry Potter loving heart, J.K. Rowling will release three new titles on Hogwarts and some of its stories and anecdotes, which completely fills my nerdy needs with joy.

As if all my childhood favorites coming back wasn't enough, Disney decided to make a live action version of one of the best Disney Princess movies of all time. With Emma Watson as the Beauty and Dan Stevens as Beast, the teaser promises a very faithful reproduction of the animated version. And if any of the musical numbers are as good as the originals, there is no reason to not be excited about this one. 

Last year I made a book review post on 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher, which if you haven't already you can read here. Back then I had already mentioned Selena Gomez's production company had bought the rights to produce a movie version of the book years ago and yet nothing had evolved since. At the end of last year, however, Selena finally broke the amazing news that 13 Reasons Why had been sold as a new series for Netflix, which I could not be more excited about. Not only am I grateful because Netflix has proven itself capable of dealing with intense and difficult issues with conscience, truthfulness and care (see OITNB and Jessica Jones, for example) but also because a serialized version of this story really does seem the best way to explore it. Perfect business move, Selena. 

I only wish it would come out this month, as September is National Suicide Prevention Month in the US.

After the excitement of the Olympics and watching everyone be so involved and happy around Rio during the three week event, I can only hope the same excitement is around for the Paralympic athletes and stars. The Paralympics will start September 7th, 2016. Every game and competition is a little bit different from what goes on the Olympics, as they have to be adapted to the paralympic athletes, which only makes it more of an interesting watch. These real life superheros definitely deserve recognition, cheerfulness and love from the audience and this town. Look out for the channels that will be showing the competitions starting this week! If you are a fellow Brazilian you may catch them on TV Brasil or SporTV.

No, I am not talking about the perfect debut single from Demi Lovato's first album. La La Land is the musical romantic dramedy starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone (yes, again) coming out very very soon. I fell completely head over heals with this movie by just watching the teaser trailer and knowing that it involved Ryan and Emma. When I read the story was about an actress and a jazz pianist falling in love, it was enough. 

Having already been shown in Film Festivals, the movie has been getting amazing receptions, with high note reviews in almost every department, convincing me that the feeling the trailer had given me initially shall not let me down. I need this movie, I need it now.

Man, this list is getting me all happy and excited, and I didn't even mention everything! What movies, shows and books are you excited for?

Despite being a beauty blogger, Anna is responsible for a couple of my favorite recipe videos. One of them being this amazing cookie recipe, which I have baked twice in the span of a couple of weeks. I definitely recommend trying this one, it's a gooey on the inside, chocolate filled deliciousness.

Oh, as Anna says we can use whatever chocolate we prefer, I have been baking mine as a three chocolate cookie, mixing dark chocolate, milk chocolate and white chocolate, making it extra delicious and perfect for all tastes.

Although Gilmore Girls came to Netflix in other countries quite a while ago, only in July was it made available in Brazilian Netflix. And as soon as it did, I was all over it. 

Gilmore Girls has always been on my list of favorite TV shows, but even so, I had completely forgotten just how good it really was. There is not one episode I rewatch and don't completely fall in love with again. And it's just so much fun to see how many of the pop references I actually understand now that I didn't when I was little.

As you may know, I'm from Rio. Not only am I from Rio, but I have been, since I can recall, always incredibly drawn to watching every single sport possible of every single Olympics. This means the past couple of weeks has been intense. 

Despite my disagreance with the Olympics happening in Rio (an argument for some other time), watching so many incredible athletes coming together, doing the impossible, overcoming their own difficulties and struggles, is incomparable. Watching it happen right here in this city, was even better.

Now, to the Paralympics!

I'm certain by now you have definitely heard the Netflix 80's nostalgia series that is dominating the world, right? Everyone and their mothers have watched it. And there is good reason for it. It took me only two nights to watch from start to finish, completely immersed and addicted to the show.

The storyline goes into horror and suspense territory, with little Will's disappearance after a game of Dungeons and Dragons with his three best friends. But it also ventures into a story about love, friendship and family. 

The main characters, played by the four most adorable children on earth, are endearing and funny. Winona Ryder as Will's mother is incredible. The soundtrack, as an 80's soundtrack would be, on point. 

Even the fact that it is such a short series, with only 8 episodes in the first season, makes the show perfect, giving the story perfect pace to explore the characters, the mysteries, the horror and still leave us hanging and dying for the next season.
